The Equitable Sustainability Literacy Guide (ESLG) is a website that was created by students at Binghamton University to educate you on environmental justice! Environmental Justice is the movement to bring equity and sustainability to all groups of people.
ESLG was supported by a Carnegie-Whitney Grant from the American Library Association and by the Binghamton University Libraries!
Through the Binghamton University Libraries, lots of research was done to provide information on the significant impact of climate change and environmental hazards on various marginalized groups. Read up on these topics by clicking on the "Environmental Justice" tab of the website!
Each page has a brief overview of each topic, including the history of the social injustice and the environmental problem. There are original infographics as well as interactive timelines that you can flip through to read about real world instances of this each environmental injustice. Each page is then wrapped up with a couple suggestions on how you can make a difference, followed by all of the sources used!
With access to vocabulary, books, articles, videos, podcasts, and learning tools, you can learn more about environmental justice in various ways. Covering many topics, these resources can help to expand knowledge and understanding of environmental injustices and sustainability!

They all have many different ways for all to become fight for environmental injustice through donations, volunteer and employment opportunities, or even signing up for newsletters to stay informed! This section covers the common myths of Environmentalism! Today, people and corporations in political or economic power have a vested interest in perpetuating an environmental narrative that suits their needs.
