Susquehanna Group

The Susquehanna Group of the Sierra Club works to educate the public and protect local ecosystems and resources, covering Broome, Chenango, Delaware, and parts of Tioga and Otsego counties. They organize local cleanups, garden plantings, marches, and more! Network for a Sustainable Tomorrow

Network for a Sustainable Tomorrow (NeST) works to promote social, environmental, and economic justice in the Southern Tier! They sponsor many programs such as Heat Smart, Solar Works, Community Power, and more, connecting locals to the resources they need! VINES

Volunteers Improving Neighborhood Environments (VINES) is an organization that runs various gardening and composting workshops while maintaining over 20 community gardens throughout Johnson City, Hillcrest, Dickinson, Endicott, Endwell and Vestal! Southern Door Community Land Trust

The Southern Door Community Land Trust is a BIPOC led organization in Broome County working to ensure racial, housing, and energy justice for all residents. This organization's main focus is to create "permanently affordable rental and cooperative housing projects" through Community Land Trusts (CLTs). Check out their website for more information!

Move Out Project

This program is run by the Susquehanna Group of the Sierra Club to divert waste created during Binghamton University's move out in May and instead give back to the community! Click on the link to find out how to volunteer or donate during move out!

Naturalists' Club of Broome County

The Naturalists’ Club is a family-oriented nature club, founded in 1950, dedicated to the enjoyment, exploration, and protection of the natural world! The club hosts monthly meetings, weekly nature walks, nature field trips, bird song classes,  and many other club sponsored and cooperative events!

Rust2Green

Rust2Green Binghamton works to assess and improve the resilience of city! The project mainly focuses on the Susquehanna and Chenango Rivers, flooding, and the community of Binghamton.

Environmental Advocates NY is dedicated to ensuring a secure climate, pristine water, and flourishing communities for everyone.
