Recycling

Recycling is one of the most important things people can do to increase their sustainability. However, it isn't as straight forward as most people think. Further down this page there is more information about how recycling works. There are two main things to keep in mind when you go to recycle:

  1. Reduce Reuse Recycle animated GIF created by foxyboxysolutions on DeviantArt  Recycling should come after Reduce and Reuse! This is true for products as well as food and water.  
  2. Contamination is a huge problem in recycling. Remember to check the University's and Broome County's recycling guidelines.
