VINES New Community Garden - Seeking Volunteers & Donations

VINES has added a new community garden in Endicott, NY on Squires Ave, and they have plans to add a heritage garden to this new site! The goal of the heritage garden is to preserve the ethnic and cultural backgrounds of individuals living in the area. Garden organizers are hoping that individuals will be able to cultivate their roots and preserve their connections to their homelands through the sowing of seeds and sharing of food that is representative of their cultural heritage.

They are looking for volunteers that are interested in helping plan and implement the heritage garden, as well as volunteers that are interested in donating seeds or recipes that can be used to help build a diverse garden that is representative of the rich cultural heritage of the area.

If interested in more information, please reach out to the garden organizers at squires@vinesgardens.org.
