- Russian Review Publishes scholarly articles and book reviews in the areas of history, literature, film, fine arts, culture, society, and politics of the peoples of Russia.
- Slavic Review This is an international interdisciplinary journal devoted to the study of eastern Europe, Russia, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, past and present. The journal publishes articles of original and significant research and interpretation, reviews of scholarly books and films, and topical review essays and discussion forums.
- Slavonic and East European Review An international, peer-reviewed quarterly, SEER publishes scholarly articles on all subjects related to Russia, Central and Eastern Europe – languages & linguistics, literature, art, cinema, theatre, music, history, politics, social sciences, economics, anthropology – as well as reviews of new books in the field.
- Vestnik: the Journal of Russian and Asian studies VESTNIK is designed to showcase exceptional work by students of all levels, subjects, and backgrounds who are researching and writing about Russia or those states formerly a part of the Soviet Union.

- Fundamental Electronic Library of Russian Literature and Folklore ( Фундаментальная электронная библиотека "Русская литература и фольклор") Specializes in Russian Literature, XI-XX centuries, and Russian folklore. Much is in full text.
- Moshkov's library (Библиотека Максима Мошкова) Maksim Moshkov's Digital library gives access to large number of Russian literary texts, humor, poetry, etc. Translations are also available.
- Russian author I.S. Turgenev (Русский писатель И.С. Тургенев) Part of the mega-project "Znamenitye liudi Orlovskoi gubernii," (Знаменитые люди Орловской губернии), this site seeks to "collect all the information about Russian writer Ivan Sergeevich Turgenev in one place." Includes photographs, web links and text, as well as a selection of his works.
- Russian Globe Monthly Internet magazine featuring literature, art, and music. In Russian, with a limited English version.
- Russian Science Fiction & Fantasy (Русская фантастика) Good collection of Russian science fiction and fantasy stories, as well as authors' biographies and interviews. Predominately in Russian with a limited English version.
- South Slavic Literature Library Specializes in on-line South Slavic literature spanning the Balkan states of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yugoslavia and Macedonia (from north to south). (Please note that Bulgarian literature is not included in this library.)
- Tolstoy Studies Journal Tolstoy Studies Journal is a refereed annual put out by the Tolstoy Society of North America. Also available are links to Tolstoy related sites.
- Vavilon (Вавилон) An anthology of contemporary Russian literature, especially poetry. Included is a review of Moscow literary events, many internet versions of Russian literary almanacs (fore example, "Mitin zhurnal," "Poeziia i kritika," "Chernovik," etc.), collections of literature (browsable by authors or form), and biographies of contemporary Russian authors.
