Accessibility Checklist

Whenever you create a digital project as a Binghamton student, faculty member, or staff member that is related to your work at Binghamton University it must be accessible.

Creating accessible content includes checking for: proper use of heading styles, color contrast, alt text on images, descriptive link text and more.

Binghamton University has a dedicated office to support students, faculty and staff in creating digitally accessible content. They have created many useful resources, a handy checklist and a list of tools to make creating accessible content easier.
