The Library offers consultation for those seeking digital preservation. If your digital work(s) are eligible for preservation, they will be entered into the Libraries' digital preservation system Rosetta. Rosetta’s primary function is preservation so that its scope is focused on preserving information that could be in danger of format degradation, format obsolescence, and loss of context. It can be used to preserve born-digital materials, or digitized files of unique, rare, historical, or fragile items. Content stored in Rosetta can either be publicly accessible or placed in a dark archive with restricted access. Depending on the size and the scope of the project, depositors may be also asked to fund positions for students and/or staff to assist with the project.
