Moving walls may range from zero to ten years, and those with walls from zero to seven years participate in our revenue sharing program. In calculating the moving wall, the current, incomplete year is not counted.

- African Journals OnlineAJOL has been working since 1998 to make African research accessible to African researchers and to the rest of the world. Journals published from developing countries are still largely excluded from the major, commercial indexing companies based in the developed Global North. As a result, African research is often invisible, and consequently there is a misapprehension that Africa does not produce much research. Millions of AJOL website users from all over the world every month prove that this is not true.
