Browzine and LibKey

Guide on BrowZine and LibKey Products: Tools to make your electronic library access easier

What is BrowZine?

BrowZine Desktop and App Interface

BrowZine allows you to browse, read and monitor online scholarly journals available from Binghamton University Libraries. Think of it as a scholarly journal newsstand. You can look up journals by name or explore journals by subject.

What does it do?

  • Allows you to explore library subscribed journals by subject area or search by journal name
  • Easily read complete scholarly journals in a format that is optimized for smartphone and tablet devices
  • Easily share links to articles with colleagues
  • Export citations to articles to your preferred citation manager

How does it work?

For more information on how to use BrowZine, check out the video below. Note that we have a Lite version of BrowZine, which does not allow you to set up a personal bookshelf or alerts.:

How do I get started?

Go to browzine.com/libraries/190/subjects to start using it.

BrowZine App: We have a lite version of BrowZine, so the app does not have full functionality for Binghamton Libraries materials. You may set up the app for open access (freely available) materials only. Download BrowZine from your Android, iOS or Kindle Fire device, visit the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Amazon App Store. Search for “BrowZine” and download the app to your device.
