Binghamton University collections

The Glen G. Bartle Library is a selective depository for U.S. government publications. Areas well represented in the collection include congressional materials, demographics, energy, environment, health, labor, politics and law. We are open to the public.
The Government Documents collection is located on the first floor of Bartle Library and houses most of the collection. Some materials are integrated into the main library collections, some are on microform, and a growing number are available freely online. All documents are accessible through the Library Catalog. Electronic and print tools are available to find congressional materials (bill, reports, hearings, etc.)
If you need assistance finding a government publication, please contact the Research Assistance Desk.
We also serve as a Research Center Library for the New York State Document Depository program, in which we receive indexes and microfiche documents as they are available. Our collection can be searched in the Library Catalog. Most of the NYS Depository material is now available online, and can be found either using links to the webpages below or by searching the NYS Library catalog, Excelsior.
