- BBB Wise Giving AllianceNational voluntary registry for charities and non-profits. The BBB rates them according to a list of accountability standards, and makes these reports public in order to improve transparency and accountability.
- Social Impact ExchangeTracks evidence-based high impact non-profits. Created by the Growth Philanthropy Network, with support from Duke University, the William and Flora Hewitt Foundations and others.

First Call for help serves as a directory of services that are available for people in need of help in the Southern Tier. It also provides a good scope of what nonprofit agencies are working in the Southern Tier, what services they provide, and who they are able to serve.

Serves Broome, Chenango, Delaware, Otsego, and Tioga Counties.
