Are you a course instructor who is interested in using OER content in your courses but need some development funding? If so, you are encouraged to apply for funding using the Open Education Resources Grant Application.
OERs are educational materials that are distributed at no cost with legal permission for the public to freely use, share, and build upon the content.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but priority is given to proposals submitted by August 1, December 1, and May 1. Funding is allocated on a per course basis and is based on impact to students (i.e. current textbook cost, number of students, frequency of course offering.)
